new tasks of communes K 24/14
On 28 February 2017 at 1 p.m., the Constitutional Tribunal was to consider the joined applications submitted by the Town Council of Kożuchowo, the Commune Council of Kolsko, the Town Council of Nowa Sól, the Council of Nowosolski Poviat, the Town Council of Bytom Odrzański as well as the Commune Council of Siedlisko with regard to the revenues of the units of local self-government and the new tasks of communes.
Due to the withdrawal of the applications filed by the Council of Nowosolski Poviat, the City Council of Nowa Sól, the City Council of Kożuchowo, the Commune Council of Kolsko, the City Council of Bytom Odrzański as well as the Commune Council of Siedlisko, which had initiated proceedings in the case ref. no. K 24/14, the hearing in the said case, which was to be held on 28 February 2017 at 1 p.m., was cancelled.
On the day of the planned hearing, at 12.20 p.m., the applicants requested the Tribunal to defer the hearing due to the need to familiarise themselves with the statements presented by the Sejm and by the Minister for Development and Finance. They also requested that Judge Mariusz Roman Muszyński, who had been designated in place of Judge Marek Zubik, be excluded from the consideration of the case. Not waiting for the Tribunal’s consideration of the said requests, at 12.58 p.m. the attorney of the applicants withdrew the applications that had initiated the proceedings in the case.
The hearing was presided over by Judge Piotr Pszczółkowski, and the Judge Rapporteur was Judge Leon Kieres.
