having considered, at a sitting in camera on 12 March 2020, the application of the Public Prosecutor-General, which was lodged with the Constitutional Tribunal for it to consider the conformity of:
1) the resolution of 26 November 2010 adopted by the Sejm of the Republic of Poland with regard to the election of judges
of the Constitutional Tribunal (Official Gazette – Monitor Polski (M. P.), No. 93, item 1067) to Article 194(1) and Article 7 of the Constitution of the Republic of Poland,
2) § 1 of the resolution referred to in point 1 to Article 194(1) of the Constitution,
3) § 2 of the resolution referred to in point 1 to Article 194(1) of the Constitution,
d e c i d e s:
pursuant to Article 59(1)(2) of the Act of 30 November 2016 on the Organisation of the Constitutional Tribunal and
the Mode of Proceedings Before the Constitutional Tribunal (Journal of Laws – Dz. U. of 2019, item 2393), to discontinue the proceedings.
The ruling was unanimous.
